Intro to The Polson Perspective

Welcome!

I am glad you are here! I hope you enjoy a great conversation getting a different perspective on life. I have learned from many other people who had experiences they shared with me. When I talk to other people, I have found that many people don’t know what they don’t know. I have had the honor to share what I have learned from others so it may help them.

This is my goal!

I hope to help as as many people possible to share my knowledge and experiences with others. I am going to be the first to tell you, I DO NOT know everything! But I tend to know a little about a lot of different things. I think by sharing things that could help us in our daily lives can make us all better. “Knowledge is Power!” I am never beyond learning! We always can learn something from someone. Learning from others is what can help us as we learn on our own.

I have had so many conversations with friends, family, co-workers and complete strangers. These conversations are something that I hold near and dear and have always been thankful for them. I think conversations are something that are becoming less and less. We tend to use our devices to text or communicate on social media. On those platforms, we lose the human interaction our human touch. The skills of actual listening and speaking to others is not what it used to be.

There are so many amazing people out there and I want the world to see that! People have taught me so much about life that should be shared. I want you to learn more about the world and the fascinating people in it.

I hope by joining me in this journey, in a way could help you be a better person that you intend to be and provide a perspective you may have not thought of before.

Honeymoon at Sanctuary Cap Cana

In November 2016, my wife and I took our honeymoon to Sanctuary Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This was our first time to the DR and were excited to relax and enjoy. We had the help booking through a travel agent booking the whole thing which I recommend if it is your first time. Our travel agent had coordinated transportation from the airport to our report and back.
We arrive after a short drive from the Airport and we come to the main entrance. The staff asks my name and they said we were staying at the castle. We hop into a golf cart and we are taken to the castle where we check in.

This is the view approaching the castle.

We check in and get our honeymoon suite and meet our butler. Yes, we had a butler for our entire stay! He was amazing! Whatever you needed, he was able to get for you. If you wanted something arranged, he could assist. Our room was amazing, a split level room where you enter on the first floor where there is a half bathroom, dinning table and living room. There was a coffee and beverage station where we had water, beer and sodas available. A walk up the stairs led you to the bedroom loft overlooking the living room and out though the tall floor to ceiling windows to the Ocean. We had a walk through closet that led into the master bathroom. Back on the first floor we had our own private patio area with a private plunge pool with a view.

We were at the resort the entire time and decided not to go explore and do any excursions. The weather was beautiful the day we arrived however, it poured rain that evening into the morning. It was either overcast or rained the next few days with our last day being amazing. We still hung out at the pool and drank many beverages at the pool bar. There were several amazing restaurants on the resort our favorite was the steakhouse. During the day there was food out by the beach and pool. The food was amazing with a variety to choose from.

Since the weather was not the best, we went to the spa and had a couples massage. The spa was nice with a hot tub and sauna with a fruit/snack coffee and tea bar.

On our last day we soaked up the sun and enjoyed what we missed out on during the overcast days. We met some wonderful people on our trip who were also on their honeymoon and will keep in touch with them.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the resort and wish we had stayed an extra day or two. Next time we will make sure we will. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The worst part about the trip was having to leave after being pampered all week. Did I mention the resort is exclusively and adult only resort.

I know there are many resorts in Punta Cana, this one is definitely worth a try. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I will answer them the best I can.

Here is a link to a video I made for our trip. Apologies for the music, I edited and uploaded it from my cell phone. To view the video click below.
